Russia convict ukrainians: Russia has convicted 23 Ukrainians caught during the Ukraine War on Wednesday (26 March) on charges of terrorism. According to Russian media reports and human rights activists, 14 of the convicts of Russia were present and former fighters of Elite Ajov Brigade, who have been declared a terrorist group by Russia. Apart from this, 9 women and another person worked as kitchens and assistant employees. 12 out of 23 accused were not present in the court. Out of these, 11 prisoners were returned to Ukraine in two times in the exchange of hostage and one died in Russian custody last year. However, all of them were convicted for terrorism in his absence.
Sentenced for 13 to 23 years
Apart from this, all these were also accused of organizing violent coup and activities of terrorist organization. At the same time, some of these were accused of training for training to carry out terrorist activities. For which all these accused were sentenced to jail from 13 years to 23 years.
