RR vs RCB Highlights: Royal Challengers Bangalore has trampled Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets. The Rajasthan team has received a crushing defeat at their own home i.e. Sawai Man Singh Stadium. In this clash, Rajasthan had scored 173 runs in the first play, in response, the team of Bengaluru has achieved the target in the 18th over itself. Virat Kohli and Phil Salat contributed a lot in RCB’s victory, both played a strong half -century innings.
RCB’s easy win
Chasing the target of 174 runs, RCB was given a great start by Virat Kohli and Phil Salat. The two had a brilliant salute partnership of 92 runs. Salt played a stormy innings of 65 runs in just 33 balls, during which he hit 5 fours and 6 sixes. On the other hand, Virat Kohli played an unbeaten innings of 62 runs in 45 balls. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in his innings.
After Phil Salat was dismissed, Virat Kohli shared an 83 -run partnership with Devdutt Padikkal to ensure Bengaluru’s victory. On one hand, Virat contributed 62 runs, while Padikkal contributed 40 runs in 28 balls. 7 bowlers were used by Rajasthan, out of which Kumar Karthikeya managed to take a wicket.
Virat overshadowed Yashasvi Jaiswal
Rajasthan Royals had first batting in this match, for which opener Yashasvi Jaiswal proved to be the top scorer. Jaiswal scored 75 runs in 47 balls. At the same time, Dhruv Jurlel contributed 35 runs and Ryan Parag contributed 30 runs. But on his innings, Virat Kohli and Phil Salat were overshadowed. Royal Challengers Bangalore have so far registered four wins in 6 matches played in IPL 2025. Rajat Patidar’s army has now come in third place in the points table.
