Captain Rohit Sharma dedicated the victory of the Champions Trophy to the whole country. He said that when Team India is playing, the whole country is supporting it. Rohit Sharma described Shreyas Iyer as a silent hero.
Praising Shreyas Iyer, Rohit said, “Shreyas Iyer is our silent hero. Iyer came to the middle order and played important innings for the team. He still shared important partnership with Akshar Patel. I do not need to tell the fellow players much.” Shreyas Iyer scored 48 runs and after Rohit Sharma was dismissed, he had overcome Team India from the pressure situation on a 61 -run partnership with Akshar Patel.
