You’re probably look at my hair and wondering why I’m even using this. Well, I’m 45 and believe prevention is better than cure and back in 2023 (see photo below) my hair did not look this way. I’m not the girl that’s going to tell you there’s a miracle cure but that a hair growth journey is possible with a little patience, consistency using the best hair growth products and effort.

Fisentin: A strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory to help protect hair follicles from factors that contribute to hair thinning and loss. It may also reduce cellular senescence.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Water: contains vitamins, minerals, inositol and antioxidants to strengthen, smooth, enhance shine, manageability, and repair damaged hair. It can also mildly exfoliate your scalp to help with your scalp health. When was the last time you exfoliated your scalp? I only got good about detoxing and exfoliating my scalp after working with a trichologist. I’d always been concentrating on the ends and not the roots!
Helianthus Annuss (Sunflower) Sprout Extract: rich in antioxidants and nutrients like vitamins A, D, and E. These can help to protect your hair and scalp from UV-induced oxidative stress, maintain hair density and overall health.

How to use One Skin OS-01 hair peptide scalp serum
It’s really easy to incorporate using the scalp serum into you’re daily routine as it’s non-greasy. I probably spend more time than necessary applying it as I want to make sure I’ve got good coverage and it’s fully absorbed. You apply it 1-2x daily in the morning and/or evening. I’ve been using it twice a day.
To use:
- Part your hair where you want to start the treatment.
- Evenly place a few drops along the part and massage in with your fingertips.
- Repeat around your scalp until you’ve covered every area you wish to treat.
- It should be a total of 1 ml of serum (2 pipettes, there’s a 0.50ml marker line) you use for your entire head.
- Pro-tip: for enhanced absorption use their derma roller prior to application on a clean scalp (wash days only). This should help increase how well your scalp absorbs OS-01 HAIR which can lead to better results. Roll gently 4-5x in each direction where you want to treat and then apply the serum.
- Leave on and do not rinse.
- Use an alcohol spray to clean your derma roller after every use.
The scalp serum can be used on wet or dry hair and then styled like usual.
Proven results
I tend to gravitate towards companies who have proven results in clinical trials. Especially with new products and innovations where there are no reviews yet. Now, I’m not expecting miracle results but after seeing the results from these trials I do have high expectations.

One thing I was nervous about when using this in the morning is that it would make my freshly blown out hair greasy as it has so many hydrating ingredients! I did not want to waste 20-30 minutes blow drying and styling my hair only for it to be a greasy mess. Thankfully, this was not the case. It took a little while to dry but once it did it made it instantly a bit more shiny, felt cooling and comfortable but didn’t leave a residue.
