Assistant engineer (Mechanical):
- Road Construction Department: 12
- Building Department: 03 posts
- Small Water Resources Department: 04 posts
- City Development and Housing Department: 17
Assistant Engineer (Electric):
City Development and Housing Department: 04 posts
Educational qualification:
Degree of Engineering from AICTE from any university, institute to civil, mechanical, electrical.
Edge Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- General class men: maximum 37 years
- Reserve category: maximum 40 and 42 years according to the post
Salary: Grade pay – 5400 rupees according to Level – 9
Category wise so many marks in exam:
- General: 40%
- Backward: 36.5%
- Extremely backward class: 34%
- Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Divyang: 32%
Fees:
- General: 750 rupees
- Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes of Bihar State only: 200 rupees
- All of the permanent residents of Bihar state (reserved/unreserved class) women candidates: 200 rupees
- Divyang (40% or more): 200 rupees
- All others: 750 rupees
