The police knew that Sarvan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallawal would come to Chandigarh for the meeting. Due to this, there will be not much difficulty in removing farmers from both the borders.

The Punjab government had ordered the police to stop the conflict under the Supreme Court order and submit the report. The government was being criticized for the farmers’ movement. The big businessmen were losing crores.
