World -class road structure will now be developed on the lines of Germany, France and Australia in three major cities of Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. The inner roads of these cities will be given a new form. Benches, street lights, bus stops to sit on the roadside

Apart from this, separate lanes will be set for each category vehicles and pedestrians. Sign boards and direction indicator boards will be installed in each street. This entire structure will be updated on Google Map.
The project will be assigned to large companies associated with road structure. Companies constructing roads will take care of them for the next ten years. Feedback will be taken from the public regarding the project and it will also be improved if needed.
Project will be completed in eight months
Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that this project is very important. This will reduce road accidents, will make people’s life easier and the problem of traffic jam will also be reduced. He said that the road lining system which will be adopted, will be re-line every three months. The life of roads to be constructed under it will be ten years.
Apart from this, proper arrangements will be made for drains and drainage along the roads, which will greatly benefit people. Roads will be beautified and landscaping. The Finance Minister said that the services of international level planners will be taken for this project. The tender is being issued today in this regard and a target has been set to complete the entire project in eight months.
The first phase of this project includes some areas of the three cities. Where this facility will be given to the people. Which is as follows-
