The young man pointed to the Shivshahi bus and asked him to go inside. There was no light in the bus. On this, the woman hesitated and asked the young man – the light is not burning. The young man told him that other passengers were sleeping, so it is dark. As soon as she climbed the bus, the accused closed the door and raped her.
In the bus where the accused raped, there is a sari on the back seat.
The event was 5.30 am According to the Pune police, after the incident, the victim started catching another bus and started going to his village. Before that he called a friend and told him to complain to the police. The incident took place at 5.30 am.
The CCTV footage is seen talking to the accused woman. Accused Dattatreya Ramdas Gade has been identified. He has a criminal record. He is currently absconding. According to sources, the police station is 100 meters from the spot.
