Greenland PM Replies Donald Trump: Responding to US President Donald Trump, Greenland Prime Minister Jens Frederick Nielsen said on Sunday (March 30, 2025) that America will not get Greenland. Posting a post on Facebook, he also said that Trump wants to control a huge Arctic country.
Nielsen said in a social media post, “President Trump says the United States is getting Greenland. Let me make it clear: United States will not get it. We are not anyone else. We decide our future ourselves.”
What did Donald Trump say?
Trump told NBC News on Saturday (March 29, 2025) that he had a completely real conversation about joining Greenland in America. “We will get Greenland. Yes, 100%.” On Friday (March 28, 2025), US Vice President J.D. Vance accused Denmark of not doing good work to protect the island and suggested that the US should do better protection of this island located strategically.
Vladimir Putin supported Donald Trump
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin had said that if US President wants to capture Greenland, Russia will not interfere in this. He said, ‘America’s plans for Greenland are serious, which have deep historical roots. As far as Greenland is concerned, it is a matter between two countries. We have nothing to do with this. Recently, Donald Trump described this Arctic region as a part of America, which currently comes under Denmark.
