PM Kisan 20th Installment: Farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It is expected to be released on June 20, but there’s no official confirmation yet. Farmers who haven’t completed their e-KYC may miss out on the money.
PM Kisan 20th Installment: ₹2,000 Could Be Transferred Today, But No Official Word Yet
The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme might be released today, and lakhs of farmers are waiting for it with hope. While there’s buzz that ₹2,000 may be credited today (June 20), the government has not made any formal announcement.
According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar today. There’s speculation that he may transfer the 20th installment during this trip. But again, nothing is officially confirmed yet.

Money Will Be Sent Directly to Farmers’ Bank Accounts
Just like before, the government will send ₹2,000 directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers under this scheme — no middlemen involved. However, this time not every farmer may get the payment.
Who Might Miss Out on the Installment?
As per the government’s guidelines, farmers who haven’t completed their e-KYC may not receive the money. So if you haven’t done it yet, visit your nearest CSC centre or complete it online through the official portal as soon as possible.
Also, make sure your bank account is linked with your Aadhaar card. If it’s not, your payment might get delayed or stuck.
When Was the First PM-KISAN Installment Released?
The PM-KISAN scheme was launched on 24 February 2019. On that day, PM Narendra Modi transferred ₹2,000 each into the accounts of over 1 crore farmers during a rally in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
