The last date for registration for Prime Minister Internship Scheme Phase 2 Pilot Phase has gone ahead. Candidates can now apply till April 15 by visiting the official website PMinternship.mca.gov.in.
However, the application process for many internships has been completed and the selection process has started. But the candidates can apply for the remaining internships by going to the homepage by 15 April. Candidates will not have to pay any fees to register for the course.
10th-12th pass eligible for this
Candidates who have done 10th, 12th, ITI, polytechnic or diploma programs can apply for this internship scheme. Recently graduate candidates are also eligible for this. ITI candidates should have a matriculation certificate and ITI qualification in the respective fields.
Intermediate studies of diploma holder candidates should be completed and their diploma should be recognized by AICTE. Degree holders should be degrees from a recognized university by UGC or AICTE. Apart from this, there should be 18 to 24 years of age limit. SC, ST and OBC candidates will be exempted from the age limit.
A stipend of Rs 5,000 will be available every month
Under the PM Internship Scheme, 12 months of internship will be provided to the youth in the top 500 companies in the country so that the youth can be prepared for the job market. Apart from this, the youth will be given hands on training so that the gap between academic learning and real work conditions can be reduced. Through this, students will be given a stipend of Rs 5,000 every month. Along with this, one-time payment of Rs 6,000 will also be made.
