Actress-Sansad Kangana Ranot has expressed her opinion on the controversy related to comedian Kunal Kamra. Kangana criticized Kunal Kamra, saying that people should not be insulted in comedy, should not make fun of holy books or do not let the achievement of the people down for a temporary fame.
Talking to ANI on this dispute, he said- ‘It is not right to insult anyone. In the name of comedy, you are disrespecting someone’s work. Shinde ji used to drive a rickshaw long ago and he has achieved a lot on his own. What is his (Kunal Kamra)? Who are they? They abuse in the name of comedy. Make fun of our holy books, make fun of people. These people call themselves influencers. We need to think where our society is going for only two minutes of fame.
What is the whole matter
A video of standup comedian Kunal Kamra came out on 23 March, in which he is singing a parody song. Its first line is’ Thane’s rickshaw face beard on her face, eyeglass hi … Kunal sang it to the tune of the song of the film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’.
Activists of Shiv Sena (Shinde) considered this parody an objectionable comment on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and vandalized the Unicontinental Hotel on Sunday night. A total of 40 Shiv Sainiks had an FIR.
FIR was registered on Kunal on Monday, after which the police questioned over the phone. Kamra said- I have no regrets on my parody song. I will not apologize. If the court said, I can do this. ‘Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam said in the assembly- Call recording, CDR and bank statement of comedian Kunal Kamra will also be investigated.
