Jaishankar on minorities in Pakistan: India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar has given a statement about the minorities of Pakistan. After this statement of Jaishankar, the government of Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan was completely shocked. This fury of Pakistan is clearly visible from the statement issued by its Foreign Ministry. Even Pakistan instructed India on the contrary and said that India has no right to speak about its minorities.

India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar, while answering a question asked during the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha on Friday (March 28), criticized the neighboring country for the atrocities and indecent behavior on minorities in Pakistan. He said, “India is closely monitoring the atrocities happening with minorities within Pakistan. The Representative of India in the United Nations Human Rights Council said that Pakistan is a country where, violation of human rights, oppression of minorities and systematic erosion of democratic values are the policies of the state. Apart from this, the policies of the United Nations in Pakistan are the policies of the United Nations.”
Pakistan said after Jaishankar’s statement
Foreign Minister S.K. Pakistan was shocked by Jaishankar’s statement. After this, the Pakistani Foreign Minister made a statement on Saturday (March 29). Pakistan Foreign Ministry said in its statement, “India has no moral ground to impart knowledge on the rights of minorities. From CAA to mob litching in India, the demolition of Babri Masjid to the massacre in Delhi, there is a systematic harassment of minorities, especially Muslim community, in it. So India should pay attention to the minorities in the house of India.”
US Commission also expressed concern about Pakistan
The US International Religious Freedom Commission (USCIRF) also expressed concern about the violence on minorities in Pakistan.
