According to a report published in The Telegraph, the Pakistan Cricket Board spent Rs 560 crore to give a new look to the grounds of Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore. This amount was 50 percent more than the original budget. At the same time, 347 crore rupees were spent separately in the preparations. In response, he earned only Rs 52 crore from tickets and hosting fees. Overall, Pakistan has lost Rs 739 crore.
PCB is now trying to compensate for this loss from the players’ pockets. The board has reduced the match fees of domestic players by 90 percent. At the same time, only 12.50 percent of the old amount will be given to the reserve players.
