On Wednesday, unidentified gunmen attacked a bus going to Lahore in Balochistan province of Pakistan and killed 7 people. According to Reuters, these attackers stopped the bus by putting barricades on the national highway. After this, everyone’s ID card checked and passengers from Punjab were shot dead and killed.
The attackers forcibly picked up these people and took them to the near mountain. After this, the sound of firing was heard. A passenger reported that the number of attackers was 10–12 and all had Classencova guns.
So far, no group has taken responsibility for the attack and the motive behind the murders is also not clear. Officials said the area has been siege but the attackers have escaped.
Pakistani PM said- will have to pay heavy price Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that criminals will not be released. He said-
Innocent people who kill and damage their property will have to pay a heavy price.
In August last year, in Balochistan, terrorists shot and killed 23 people by checking the ID card and later set fire to vehicles. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) then claimed responsibility for the attack.
BLA has been running an operation against the militant government in Balochistan for a long time.

What is Baloch Liberation Army?
According to Diche Vale, Bla is the largest Baloch militant group in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It has been revolting against the Pakistani government for decades. The group is demanding to exclude China from Balochistan’s independence and its areas. BLA has carried out several attacks targeting the Pakistani Security Forces and China’s CPEC project.
Most of the Baloch people living in Balochistan are angry with the Pakistani government. These people say that the government is incorrectly using the natural resources of their areas. BLA says that the local population does not get any share from these resurrears.
Balochistan is the poorest area in Pakistan
Balochistan is still the poorest and lowest population area of Pakistan. The separatists have been active here for several decades. In 2005, Pakistan also launched military operations against separatists. However, the situation has not changed.
Balochistan is an important stop in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) being built between China and Pakistan. Both separatist and political parties in Balochistan have been opposing this investment of China.
Baloch separatists say that China is bringing economic projects to make its sub-investment here. The consent of Baloch people is not taken in Chinese projects.
