According to BSF sources, an unknown person was trying to enter the Indian border on behalf of Pakistan. BSF personnel warned him first, but he did not stop and continued to move forward. After this, the soldiers opened fire, causing the intruders to die on the spot.
Investigation continues at the scene
On receiving the information of the incident, the team of police station Ramdas reached the spot and the investigation of the case has been started. No identity card has been received from the intruder, due to which his identity is not yet clear.
The body of the deceased intruder is kept in the Morchuri of the Civil Hospital in Ajnala. Further action is being taken by the BSF and the police, and a detailed investigation into the case is underway.
Security agencies on alert
This is not the first incident of infiltration on the India-Pakistan border. In the past, infiltration was killed in Pathankot. Security agencies are constantly monitoring the border, so that any untoward can be prevented.
