Pahalgam Terror Attack: Former spinner Danish Kaneria has accused Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of ‘sheltering and raising terrorists’ and appreciated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a strong message against terrorism. 44 -year -old Kaneria living in Britain said in a post on ‘X’ that Sharif has kept silence on the attack which is a sign of Pakistan’s role.
Sharif may not have made any comment on this incident personally, but Pakistan’s Foreign Office has expressed concern over the loss of life and property.
Kaneria, who has allegedly suffered a ban for spot fixing in English county cricket, wrote, “If there is no role in Pakistan’s Pahalgam terror attack, then why has Prime Minister Shahbaz not condemned it yet?” Why is your army suddenly on high alert? Because from inside you know the truth – you are giving shelter and nutrition to the terrorists. be ashamed of.”
After the Pulwama attack in 2019, terrorists killed 26 people in Pahalgam on Tuesday in the most deadly attack in the valley, most of which were tourists. The ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF), associated with the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), Pakistan, took responsibility.
Only the second Hindu cricketer Kaneria, who played for Pakistan in another post, praised Indian Prime Minister Modi for giving a strong message against the attack on Thursday.
In a speech in English, Modi vowed to ‘identify every terrorist and its supporters, find and punish them’. He also said that India will ‘chase the attackers’ to every corner of the earth’ and terrorism will never break the spirit of the country.
