According to the NDTV report, Pakistan’s Aerospace Authority is suffering a loss of millions of dollars every month, as it charges overfly fees from airlines using their airspace. For the last two days, Lufthansa, British Airways, Swiss, Air France, Italy’s ITA and Poland’s LOT have voluntarily avoided Pakistani airs due to tension between India and Pakistan.

Air India may lose crores annually
According to the report, Air India may suffer a loss of $ 600 million per year due to not using Pakistan’s aircraft. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority on the other hand may cause a loss of millions of dollars due to non -availability of overfly fee on an annual basis.

In February 2019, the airlines suffered a loss of at least 100 million in 5 months due to lack of aircraft on the terrorist camp in Balakot, Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, Balakot in Pakistan. The Center for Asia-Pacific Aviation (CAPA) said that Indian airlines have to bear an additional cost of $ 70-80 million every month due to lack of flight from Pakistani airspace.
