Pahalgam terror attack: The terrorist attack on Tuesday (April 22) in Pahalgam, a beautiful tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir, shook the country. It was one of the most frightening attacks in recent years. The terrorists of ‘The Resistance Front’ associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba targeted people on religious grounds, killing 26 innocent tourists. This barbarity ran a wave of resentment and sorrow across the country. This attack not only overshadowed the afflicted families but also increased the increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
Soon after the attack, Indian security agencies have identified 42 terrorist launch pads and training centers located in PoK near the Line of Control (LOC). Based on intelligence inputs, it was found that about 150-200 trend terrorists are deployed to infiltrate different camps. These launch pads include places like Kel, Sardi, Dudhanial, Atmukam, Jura, Lipa, Kotli and Khuratta. Due to the possibility of India’s rapid response, there was a huge reshuffle in the hideouts of terrorists.

According to the report of India Today, reports have been reported from sources that in view of the possibility of Indian action, the Pakistani army started shifting terrorists from traditional launch pads in POK and shifting to safe bunkers of the army. This step is a sign of frustrated attempt to save terrorists from Indian surveillance and possible action. Such activity clearly shows that Pakistan is making every effort to keep terrorism alive, despite that it is facing international pressure.
