Pahalgam terror attack: 26 innocent people lost their lives in a terrorist attack on 22 April 2025 in Basaron Valley in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Lashkar-e-Taiba’s front organization The Resistance Front (TRF) has taken responsibility for this attack. After the incident, a statement by Pakistan Army Chief Aseem Munir is becoming quite viral on social media. A few days before the attack, on 16 April, Pakistani Army Chief General Aseem Munir described Kashmir as the neck of Pakistan during an event in Islamabad. Many other leaders including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif were present in the program.
He had said that during our independence, our people had created Pakistan by assuming that we are different from Hindus in every way. Our traditions, religion, customs, thinking are everything different. Supporting two-nation theory, he described Hindus and Muslims as separate and justified India-Pakistan partition. He had said that he would not allow Kashmiri brothers and sisters to be alone. The way India was attacked after the statement of the Pakistani army chief is really a matter of concern.

India gave sharp reaction
India gave a befitting reply to the poisonous statement of the Pakistani Army Chief. The Ministry of External Affairs had said that Kashmir is an integral part of India and no foreign element can call it a nerve of the neck. India also clarified that Pakistan’s intention is not to challenge India’s sovereignty, but to distract attention from its internal crises.
Indian security agencies investigated
After the attack, Indian security agencies started investigation. A total of 4 people have been identified in this. Two terrorists among the attackers are Pakistani citizens, who were talking in Pashto language. Two local terrorists have also been identified. One is named Adil Ahmed, who is associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is a resident of Bijbehra. The name of the second terrorist is Ashif Sheikh, who is related to Jaish-e-Mohammed. He is about to do Tral. One or two of these terrorists recorded an entire attack from Bodycam.
Security forces released sketches
India’s security agencies have released sketches of three terrorists. A search operation is being conducted on a large scale in the area. The attack has made it clear that the terrorist network is still active in the valley and Pakistan has support.
