Nora Fatehi, who has become a sensation across the country with many songs like Dilbar, Saki-Saki, has told that many directors had shot them for free. The actress has told that directly by promising to take her in films, they definitely shoot the songs, but later disappear.
Nora Fatehi said in an interview to BBC Asia Net, now I have stopped being sensitive. I used to cry earlier, but now I have stopped crying for things. I used to get hurt by rejections, gossip, not getting work. But suddenly I have felt that all this does not matter to me. If you do not call me, do not give me work, then I will find a chance for myself.
Further, the actress said, I have resources, I can talk, I am smart. I do not want anyone to do this. I have stopped living on people, agencies, directors and producers. Some come to me and say, hey, do you do a song like a favorite for my film, we promise that you will take you in your next film. But they never do this. Many directors have done this with me and then they disappear. So now I have stopped staying on them. I will do this only when I want. I don’t want anything in return. And this way I am moving forward.
Let us tell you that Nora Fatehi was born in Canada, while her parents are Moroccan. After modeling for some time, Nora came to India with just 5 thousand rupees about 10 years ago. In the initial time in Mumbai, Nora used to share flat with 10 girls. After a long struggle, Nora appeared in the 2014 film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarban song. After this, she also appeared in the song Manohari from Bahubali film.
Nora Fatehi became the star from the song Dilbar from the 2018 film Satyamev Jayate. Further, she has appeared in songs like Saki Saki, Kamariya, Manike. Apart from songs, Nora Fatehi has also worked in films like Street Dancer, Crack, Bharat.
Nora played Parineeti Chopra in the year 2021 and played the role of detective Hina in the film Bhuj: The Pride of India.
