A fake notification is becoming increasingly viral on social media, claiming that the NEET PG 2025 examination has been postponed till August 17. But the government has termed this notice as fake. The fact check unit has appealed to the students to rely on the website only for official information.
Actually, this confusion started spreading when a fake letter went viral on social media, which said that the date of NEET PG 2025 has been increased to 17 August. But the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has clarified that no such official notification has been issued.
Examination will be held in CBT mode on June 15
According to the official information released by NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 exam will be held on 15 June 2025. This exam will be taken in two shifts in computer based test (CBT) mode. Earlier, NBEMS also told that detailed information bulletin of the examination will soon be uploaded on the official website of the board.

What is NEET PG?
NEET PG is a national level entrance examination to be conducted for admission in MD, MS and PG diploma courses in medical colleges across the country. Thousands of students compete for postgraduate medical seats through this examination.

Appeal to students
NBEMS has advised the students not to believe any notifications going viral on social media. All the official announcements related to the exam will be made available only on the website.
