Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave instructions
The Dhami government in Uttarakhand has taken a big decision in Navratras. The names of several places in the four districts of the state, Haridwar, Dehradun Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital have been changed. Its orders have also been issued by the government.

Under this, the names of 10 villages and places have been changed in Haridwar district, while the names of four places in Dehradun district have been changed. The names of two places in Nainital district have been changed. The name of a place in Udham Singh Nagar district has changed.

Order issued by governance
The names that have been changed by the government included many names like Aurangzeb, Ghaziwali, Mohammadpur, Akbarpur, Mianwala, Abdulpur, Khanpur, Nawabi Road. By changing these names, the government has named places in the names of the great men of the state and the country. So that the tradition of Indian culture and heritage remains.

The Chief Minister said that the names of various places are being changed in accordance with public spirit and Indian culture and heritage. So that people can take inspiration from the great men who contribute to Indian culture and its protection. The names that have been changed are named after the great great men of the country.
