Mumbai Police reached the house of comedian Kunal Kamra on Monday in an objectionable remarks on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Kamra has reacted on social media for reaching the Mumbai Police’s house.
Kunal shared his photo on his X handle and wrote- ‘Go to a address where I have not been living for the last ten years. Your time and public resource waste. ‘

Three cases were registered at different places
3 new cases were registered against standup comedian Kunal Kamra at Khar police station in Mumbai. These cases are related to the controversial statement given about Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. According to the information given by the Mumbai Police on March 29, the first complaint has been filed by the Mayor of Jalgaon, while the remaining 1-1 cases have been made by two different businessmen of Nashik.
In this case, Mumbai Police has issued 2 summons for questioning Kunal Kamra. At the same time, a notice of breach of privilege against Kamra has also been accepted in Maharashtra Legislative Council.
Comedian Kunal Kamra, who was involved in controversies by writing Parodi Song on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, has been called by the police on 31 March. The police has so far issued two summons to them.
T series sent notice to make parody
On the other hand, in the video, the T-series has sent a copyright notice to Kunal due to making a parody on the song of Mr. India film. Kunal gave this information on X. He taunted Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and sang the parody song on the song “Say Muj Kho Hawa Hawaii …”.
Kamra alleged that YouTube has blocked Visibility and Monetize for his stand-up ‘New India’ for copyright violations. Now there will be no earning from his video. He described the T-series notice as an arbitrary attack on artistic freedom like satire and parody.

Controversy started due to Shinde calling a traitor The 36 -year -old standup comedian took a sarcasm on Shinde’s political career in his show. Kamra parked a song from the film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, in which Shinde was called a traitor. He also commented in a funny tone about the partition in Shiv Sena and NCP through songs.
After the video of Kamra surfaced, supporters of Shiv Sena Shinde faction vandalized the Habitat Comedy Club in Khar area of Mumbai on the night of 23 March. Shinde said, ‘This person (Kamra) had commented on the Supreme Court, Prime Minister, Arnab Goswami and some industrialists. This is not freedom of expression. It is to work for someone. ‘
Meanwhile, Kunal Kamra said about the incident of sabotage- he would not apologize for his controversial comments about Shinde and criticized the sabotage at the place in Mumbai where the comedy show was recorded.

FIR lodged on Kamra, call recording will be investigated FIR was registered on the standup comedian Kunal Kamra on 24 March. Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam said in the assembly, the call recording, CDR and bank statement of comedian Kunal Kamra will also be investigated. Shiv Sena (Shinde) activists considered this parody an objectionable comment on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and vandalized the Unicontinental Hotel on Sunday night. A total of 40 Shiv Sainiks had an FIR.
