On April 20, a man’s body was found in the basement of a building in Kandivali area of Mumbai. The name of the deceased was Jitendra Chauhan (30). He was a carpenter by profession. The police started investigating the case registered.
Police said on Wednesday that the young man was pushed by his friend from the second floor of a building after talking loudly on the phone. The accused has been arrested. His name is Alam (25).
Police said Alam was watching the IPL match during the incident. Then Jitendra got a call. Jitendra started talking loudly. Alam had trouble watching the match. Both had a fight over this matter. During this time Alam pushed Jitendra from the balcony.
Police said Jitendra suffered serious injuries after falling from the building. He was taken to Shatabdi Hospital. There was the next day during treatment.
Police said that a case of murder has been registered against the accused Alam under Section 103 (1) of BNS. He was produced in court. He has been sent to jail from here. Further action is being taken in the case.
