Secret meeting was held on Saturday Following the instructions of Home Minister Amit Shah, a secret meeting was held on Saturday afternoon at the residence of Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi along with Gujarat Police Chief Vikas Sahai. High officials including Ahmedabad Police Commissioner, Joint Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad Crime Branch Sharad Singhal and Surat Police Commissioner were present in this meeting.
The meeting discussed all aspects ranging from catching illegal Bangladeshis living in Ahmedabad and Surat by conducting large -scale search operations in Ahmedabad and Surat. After this, the officials prepared the entire action plan. This entire operation was limited to only senior IPS officers. After this, Operation Clean City was started simultaneously in both cities after 12 pm on Saturday night.

Police teams were called at the same place in Ahmedabad and Surat and then in the silence of the night, raided the sensitive areas of both cities and started the process of detaining Bangladeshis.
3DCP, 10 ACP, 45 PI and 16 teams of 800 policemen A total of 16 teams including 3DCPs, 10 ACPs and more than 45 PIs were formed in this operation. The entire team was led and monitored by Joint Commissioner of Police Sharad Singhal. The team consisted of 70 PSIs and 800 policemen. DCP of Ahmedabad Crime Branch, SOG and Zone-6 played a major role in the operation.

Investigations have also revealed that most of these people have made fake PAN cards and Aadhaar cards. Along with this, action is also made to take action against fake PAN card and Aadhaar card makers. It is being investigated that the illegal residents came here with the help of which people.

5 Bangladeshi caught by train When the Ahmedabad-Howrah Express train reached platform number 1 of Vadodara railway station at around 4.15 am on Sunday, it was investigated. Five Bangladeshis were identified in the train. Which includes husband and wife, their two children and another person. When the railway police investigated their identity documents, they found that they are Bangladeshi and entered India in an all -round manner. Further action is being taken by taking them into custody.
