Mohammad Yunus scared of Trump’s tariff! Bangladesh begged in front of America, said- ‘Give three months time’

After Trump’s tariff policy, there has been an outcry in the global market in the last few days. Meanwhile, Mohammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, wrote a letter to US President Donald Trump requesting the postponement of reciperook Tariff for three months. In a letter to Trump, Younus proposed a 50 per cent reduction in tariffs on US exports to Bangladesh.
Mohammad Yunus requested the US to postpone the tariff on Bangladeshi things for three months, so that Bangladesh could get enough time to implement measures to increase imports from America. Yunus pledged to support Trump’s trade agenda.

In a letter to Trump, Younus said, “I am writing to assure you that we will take all the necessary steps to fully support your business agenda in Bangladesh. Soon after your swearing in, I sent my high representative to Washington DC so that we can show our intention to increase American exports in the fast growing market of 170 million people of Bangladesh.”

Mohammad Yunus said that Bangladesh imposes the lowest tariff on American exports in the South Asian region. He said that we are ready to remove all tariffs on agricultural commodities like cotton, wheat, maize, soybean and scrap metals. Yunus concluded the letter, urging Trump to reconsider the reciperook tariff.
