Director Mudassar Aziz’s film ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ has been released today. It is a romantic-comedy film that tries to show an interesting story revolving around marriage, love and ex-partner. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Rakulpreet Singh and Harsh Gujral. The length of this film is 2 hours 30 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film 3 out of 5 star ratings.
What is the story of the film?
Ankur Chadha (Arjun Kapoor) is a divorced man, whose marriage is broken by Prabhine Dhillon (Bhumi Pednekar). But despite the divorce, Prabhine’s scary dreams keep harassing her. His friend Rehan (Harsh Gujral) makes every effort to get him out of this trouble, but fails. During this time, Ankur’s life is an entry of Antara Khanna (Rakulpreet Singh) and he falls in love again. With great difficulty, Ankur celebrates Antara for marriage, but then there is an incident that Returns to Prabhleen again in her life. After this, the battle to get Ankur begins, which turns into a tremendous conflict between Prabhleen and Antara. The climax of the film revolves around this tussle.
How is the acting of Star Cast?
Bhumi Pednekar has given tremendous performance in the role of Prabhine. He and Rakulpreet Singh’s on-screen chemistry look more impressive. Arjun Kapoor could have done better work, but he was not given punch lines and dialogues in a manner. Still Arjun Kapoor has tried well and his performance has emerged in the film. However, Harsh Gujral, who was doing the first film, could not leave any special impression.
How is the film direction?
Mudassar Aziz tried to make the film’s story interesting, but the film seems scattered due to weak scripts, screenplays and ineffective dialogues. Especially the first half is quite slow and boring. However, in the second half, the tank between Bhumi and Rakul tries to give a little speed and entertainment to the film, but by then it is too late. The director has tried to make fun of Arjun Kapoor’s expression and his relationship through dialogue in this film. In this film, dialogues of viral videos like Land Kar De, Allah’s Leela were used, but they did not prove to be effective. Because comedy and script do not have any power.
How is the music of the film?
The music of the film is average. Gori Hai Kaliyan and Ik Vari songs are well-listened to listen, but the rest of the songs are not memorable. The background score is normal.

If you are fond of light romantic-comedy films and are a fan of Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar or Rakulpreet Singh, then it can be seen once. But if you are expecting a strong story, best comedy, then this film may disappoint you.
