A large number of devotees arrived on Tuesday morning to take a dip at the confluence.
Tomorrow is the last day of Mahakumbh i.e. Mahashivaratri. There is a huge crowd in the fair again since Tuesday morning. People are reaching from nearby districts. All entry points of Prayagraj city are jammed. Police is slowly removing vehicles.
By 8 am today, 31.61 lakh people have taken a bath. More than 63.36 crore devotees have taken a dip in the fair since 44 days i.e. from January 13. Yesterday, due to Mahashivaratri, a new traffic plan has been implemented in the fair area. More than 1.30 crore people took a bath on Monday.
There will be a ban on entry of all other vehicles except emergency vehicles at Mahakumbh Mela from 8 am to 8 am on Tuesday, February 27. Trains reaching Prayagraj from outside are being stopped in parking 10 km before Sangam.
There was a gathering of Bollywood actor-actress at Mahakumbh on Monday. Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif took a bath in Sangam.

New traffic plan in Mahakumbh from today
A new traffic plan will be applicable in Mahakumbh Mela area on Mahashivaratri. The entry of all other vehicles except administrative and medical vehicles in the fair area from 8 am to 8 am on February 25 to 27 February will be banned. Devotees coming to Mahakumbh will be able to park their vehicles at 36 parking sites set by the administration.
- Devotees use only prescribed parking sites
- The administration will provide shuttle bus service to reach the bathing ghats from the parking lot.
- In any emergency, help of traffic police, security forces and medical parties can be taken.

No room till 27 February in most hotels in Prayagraj
The last bath of Mahakumbh is on tomorrow i.e. 26 February, but most of the hotels in the city are still booked till 27 February. Almost the same situation is also in the Tent City made in Arail. More than one crore devotees are reaching Prayagraj daily. In such a situation, the books built in Prayagraj’s hotel, home stay and fair area are running till 26 February.
IRCTC regional manager Ajit Sinha said- Arail’s Tent City is full of booking till 26 February. Harjinder Singh, president of the Prayagraj Hotels and Restaurant Welfare Association, says that more pilgrims have arrived than expected. Most of the hotels are full till Mahashivaratri.

1450 CCTV installed from Sangam to Prayagraj Junction- DCM
Senior DCM Himanshu Shukla of Prayagraj division said- Tomorrow is our last examination of Mahashivaratri, for which we are ready with full vigor. We are making people aware through pamphlets. A large crowd from here goes to other pilgrimage sites like Ayodhya and Varanasi. We have made a smooth arrangement for them. We have installed 1450 CCTV cameras from Sangam to Prayagraj Junction. Has started operating special trains above 100. A special team of NDRF is also present here. We will be able to get this last bath done well, it is my belief.
