LSG vs MI Toss Winner: Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have chosen the first bowling. Rohit Sharma has been excluded from MI’s playing XI, on the other hand, there has been an important change in the playing XI of Lucknow Super Giants. Both Mumbai and Lucknow teams have so far registered only one win in three matches played in IPL 2025. Mumbai and Lucknow are currently at the sixth and seventh position in the points table respectively. Hardik Pandya also updated Jasprit Bumrah, who has not been able to play a single match in IPL 2025 due to injury. Pandya said that Bumrah should return soon.
Rohit Sharma will not play
At the time of the toss, the captain of Mumbai Indians told that Rohit Sharma is not a part of MI’s playing XI in this match. He told that Rohit had a ball in his knee, causing him injury. In his place against Lucknow, Will Jacks can open with Ryan Riculton.
Akashdeep’s return in Lucknow team
There is also good news for the Lucknow Super Giants team in this match. Till now LSG was beating in fast bowling, but Akashdeep is now going to play his first match in IPL 2025. Now there have been 3 experienced fast bowlers in the form of Shardul Thakur, Avesh Khan and Akashdeep near Lucknow.
