1. Inauguration of Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express train
PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express train on 19 April. Along with this, he will also inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge (Chenab Bridge).
The trial of the train at Katra-Srinagar was done on 25 January, which was successful. The train left Katra at 8 am and reached Srinagar, the last station in Kashmir at 11 am. The train completed the 160 km journey in 3 hours.
According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, repair work is going on at Jammu railway station, due to which the train service is being temporarily started from Katra. After the completion of the repair work, this train will also run from Jammu from August.
The train trial at Katra-Srinagar took place on 25 January.
2. Vikas Dhamu to the prestigious ‘Inflation Award-2025’ in Paris
Vikas Dhamu of Siswal village of Hisar has been awarded the prestigious ‘Inflation Award-2025’ in Paris, the capital of France. The award is given with the support of the Breakthro Energy Flawlose and the Quadcher Climate Foundation established by Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Inflation is the world’s first such award program that recognizes young scientists working on climate change issues. Vikas has been selected from hundreds of applications from institutions like MIT, Oxford and Stanford.
The research of Vikas Dhamu is on storing carbon dioxide as a clatharat hydrate. It consists of 30 scientists.
Vikas Dhamu received the prestigious Inflation Award in Paris, the capital of France.

1. Last date of application in PM internship 2025 today
Today is the last date to apply in the PM internship scheme 2025. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website PMinintership.mca.gov.in.
Candidates applying for PM Internship Scheme must have 10th, 12th, ITI, Polytechnic or Diploma course. Its age limit will be between 18 and 24 years.

2. President became a student in Patna University after 107 years
Maithili Mrinalini received a total of 3524 votes.
The results of Patna University Students Union election were released on 30 March. For the first time in 107 years of history, a student has won the post of PUSU president.
Maithili Mrinalini of ABVP has become its president. This time, three of the 5 posts have been captured by the students.
Saloni Raj won the post of General Secretary. NSUI’s Soumya Srivastava and Vice President won Independents for the post of Treasurer (Treasurer).
