BCCI Bat Size Rule in IPL 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made new rules for IPL 2025. Under the new rules, the width of the bat should not be 10.79 cm, the bat thickness 6.7 cm and the length of the bat should not exceed 96.4 cm. Balls have been investigated in the Indian Premier League earlier, similarly in IPL 2025, the batter’s bat is being investigated continuously. Now a case related to the Punjab Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders match has come to light, in which Sunil Narine and Enrique Nortze were caught openly dishonestly.
In the match played last Tuesday, Kolkata Knight Riders had to score 112 runs to win Punjab Kings. Before the start of KKR’s innings, the length of the batter Sunil Naren’s bat was found to be more than the fixed limit. Sunil Naren’s bat was examined by Reserve Umpire Syed Khalid. This all -rounder of the West Indies was standing with Angkrish Raghuvanshi, on one side the bat of Naren did not pass in the test, while Raghuvanshi got a clean chit.
Sunil Naren was asked to change his bat before the start of the innings. The good thing for Punjab was that Naren was dismissed for only 5 runs. On the other hand, the Enrique Norteze of Kolkata was also caught with a big bat from the limited limit. The KKR team lost 9 wickets on a score of 95, so Nortze came to bat in the 16th over, they were also asked to replace the bat.

Kolkata lost badly
The entire team of Punjab Kings was piled for 111 runs while playing first. The batting unit of Kolkata, who came to chase the small target, was left with sweat. Kolkata’s condition was so bad that despite being a dreaded batsman in the team, the entire team could not score 100 runs. KKR was all out for 95 runs.
