The body of a Nepali student has been found in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Odisha police say that the body of a B-Tech third year student was found on Sunday evening at the hostel of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar.
According to the police, Nature Lamsal had allegedly committed suicide. Students of Nepal protested against the university administration on campus against the incident. The students allege that an Indian student of nature’s batch was harassing her. It is being told that he was his boyfriend.
Despite the complaints, the university did not take action against the accused. On the complaint of the student’s cousin, the police have detained the accused Indian student.

It is being claimed on social media that this call recording has been interacted between nature and the accused boy.

According to PTI, the Indian Embassy issued a statement on the incident saying that it is saddened by the death of a Nepali student. We are in touch with the University and the Government of Odisha.
