A shocking case has come to light from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. In fact, a 14 -year -old schoolgirl here was seated out of class when he came to period. The student gave the entire exam sitting outside the classroom.

Vidhiyakayabatur studies in 8th in the 8th of Swami Chidbhavanda Matric Higher Secondary School of Senagutapipalayam village of Kininathukadavu Taluk. He started periods during the examination on 5 April. After this, the principal asked him to sit outside the class and give the exam.

When the girl’s mother came to know about the incident, she spoke in school. The video of the girl’s mother in the school has also become viral. In the video, the student said that the principal had asked her to sit outside the class.

Local activists and people around are angry after the incident. Some people are talking about going to the sub-sector of Polachi and demanding strict action against the school administration. Dalit activists say that Skull should be educated with care and periods.

Police started investigation

Coimbatore District Collector Pawankumar ji after increasing anger among people about the matter. Giriyappanwar said that the Coimbatore Rural Police has started investigation on the case. At present, action will be taken based on the facts and information that has come out.

Menstrual Hygiene Policy was approved in 2024

In November 2024, the Central Government approved the Mentrual Hygiene Policy. This policy was introduced to increase understanding about menstrual hygiene among schoolgirls and to bring changes in thinking and behavior. The purpose of bringing this policy was to remove the obstacles that prevent the students from coming to school during the Mentorial Bicycle.

A survey on the status of adolescent girls in India found that a quarter of girls do not go to school during a menstrual bicycle due to lack of toilet (Van Ezak et al. Report 2016).
