SP (SP) Koppal, Dr. Ram Arsidi said that the incident has been taken seriously. The police inspected the spot and arrested two accused on 9 March on the basis of information. Today, the third accused, Sarnabasav, has been caught from Chennai and has been brought to Kopal.

Bibash’s body found two days later
Police started the rescue operation on the morning of 7 March to find Bibas of Odisha. In addition to the fire brigade, police and investigative dogs were installed. However, it did not succeed. On March 8, this morning, Bibas’s body was found near the power house of the canal, about two kilometers from the spot.
The forensic team also investigated the scene. 6 teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
After the dinner, the Mistress of Homastay, a 29 -year -old woman, told the police that after having dinner with her 4 guests, she had gone to see the stars with music along the Tungabhadra Left Bank Canal. Then 3 people came on the bike. First he asked where to get petrol.
After this, he started asking for 100 rupees from the Israeli woman. When the tourist refused to pay the money, the accused attacked. During this time, when the three tourists came to rescue the beach, these people pushed them into the canal. He then carried out the gang rape incident and escaped from there.
After the incident, the four first found the drowning bibsh in the river, after which they reached their homestands and informed the police about the incident. Police registered an FIR and sent the victims for medical test.
4 people have been admitted to a government hospital, while the person from Odisha has died.
Police said- The search for the accused is going on
Koppal’s SP RL Arasidi said that 5 people have been attacked near Sanapur. These include 2 women and 3 men. Women are admitted to government hospitals and their condition is improving. He said that 6 teams have been formed to arrest the accused. The FIR has been filed against the accused in the sections of gang rape, looting and killing against the accused.
