Jharkhand Grass Roots Innovation Innship Scheme was approved at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday. After the meeting, Principal Secretary of the Cabinet Department, Vandana Dadel said that the state government will conduct an internship for grassroots innovation in all panchayats. Students interested in private and state university and their affection as well as affiliated colleges will get an eight -week credit based internship.
He informed that the objective of the Internship Scheme is to identify innovation and innovator at the ground level. Under this scheme, a group of four trainees will be nominated to identify ground level innovations and local needs in all 4345 panchayats of the state.
