In the case of rape and murder of a 10 -year -old girl from Jharkhand in Bharuch district of Gujarat, the Ankleshwar Sessions Court sentenced Vijay Paswan to death, convicting the kidnapping, rape and murder case. The court completed the hearing in just 100 days.

The convict Vijay Paswan, a resident of Palamu, lived in the victim’s neighborhood in Bharuch. He worked with the victim’s father in the same factory. Both families were acquainted for 10 years.
The incident took place in Jangia GIDC area. Vijay kidnapped the girl playing near the house. He raped the girl and scored 30 wounds on her body with an iron rod. The girl died on the 8th day of treatment.
The girl was admitted to the hospital in Bharuch for first aid.
On Sunday, the Gujarat Police called and informed the victim’s family about the decision. The victim’s family and the people of the village have expressed satisfaction over the decision.

On 16 December 2024, the girl was playing near her house. At the same time Vijay came there and kidnapped him and took him to the bushes. He made the girl a victim of lust and put a rod in the girl’s private part. This caused him serious internal injuries.
He was admitted to SSG Hospital in Vadodara. The doctor had told that there is a serious wound on the stomach and mouth of the girl. The situation is critical. We did not see such a case in our career. The victim’s girl was repeatedly saying that Vijay, who lives in the neighborhood, first stoned her, stabbed her, then did the wrong thing. The victim’s parents do laborers. Those people are also from Panki in Palamu.
Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh went to Bharuch and met the victim family.
Here, after the incident of cruelty came to light, Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh reached Bharuch on the instructions of CM Hemant Soren and met the victim’s girl and her family. The Jharkhand government had given assistance of four lakhs to the girl’s family.
The victim was arrested twice in 3 hours
The girl was referred to SSG Hospital in Vadodara on 16 December. There was a serious injury to the internal parts. He was also performed three surgery. During treatment on 23 December, the victim was arrested twice in 3 hours, causing her death.
Father had said- the accused was identified for 10 years
The father of the minor victim had told- has been acquainted with 10 years from the rape of the daughter. The two work together in Gujarat. Six months ago, he called his wife and daughter from village to Gujarat.
After coming here, his wife also started working as a laborer. The daughter was alone at home. When the wife returned late Monday evening, the daughter did not find the house. On searching, the daughter was found in the bush. He told that wrongdoing has been done with him. Vijay raped the girl a month ago. The girl used to call Vijay Paswan as DVD old man.
