Search operation of security forces is going on in Juthana area.
On Thursday, three soldiers were killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. The soldiers killed 3 terrorists. Five security personnel, including DSP Dheeraj Singh, were injured in the encounter that continued since morning. Three of them died during treatment.
The names of the three martyred soldiers are Tariq Ahmed, Jaswant Singh, Balwinder Singh. He was referred to Jammu Medical College (JMC). These soldiers of the Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir were shot in the stomach.
The joint team of police and army is doing search operation.
The injured jawan was airlifted.
The encounter is running near Jakhole village in Ghata Juthana area of Rajbagh. There are reports of about 9 terrorists being hidden here. The joint team of SOG, Army, BSF and CRPF killed three terrorists. Security forces are conducting a massive search operation with the help of thermal imaging, drones, helicopters, bulletproof vehicles and investigative dogs for the terrorists.

On January 14, 6 jawans of Gorkha Rifles were injured in the Landmine Blast near LoC in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. The blast took place in Makri area of Bhavani sector. A contingent of soldiers was patrolling near Khamba Fort. At the same time, a jawan’s leg accidentally fell on the land mine.
