Chief Minister Omar Abdullah presented the budget of Jammu and Kashmir after 7 years.
After 7 years, the budget of Jammu and Kashmir is being presented. On this occasion, Chief Minister of the National Conference coalition government, Omar Abdullah made many big announcements. Like Delhi, now women of Jammu and Kashmir will also get free travel facility in government buses, and every house will get 200 units free electricity. Apart from this, it was announced to prepare a master plan to promote 15,000 new primary schools and tourism.
Also, during the Amarnath Yatra in the budget, there was also talk of strengthening the security and living system.

Improvement in electricity, health and education
- Electricity up to 200 units – relief to every house
- Smart meters will be installed – to stop power theft and improve supply
- Health services upgrade – City scan facility in all district hospitals, budget of 110 crores
- 15,000 new primary schools plan to open
Focus on tourism and religious places
- Amarnath Yatra – Better arrangements for safety and living of passengers
- Tourism facilities will increase in Shiv Khodi, Pir Kho and Ranjit Sagar Dam

BJP said- should be strictly dealt with who talk about Pakistan On illegal mining in Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah said that we will fulfill the aspirations of the people.
