A case has been registered against 10 people in the case of illegal occupation of an NRI property in Jagraon of Punjab. NRIs have been living in America for a long time. He returned to India a year ago. The police is investigating the case.

According to the information, Mandeep Singh of village Mohi currently lives in California America. Police has taken action on their complaint. Mandeep Singh said that he has 16 acres of land and a form house in Munbarpura village.
Some people living illegally in the house
He was in America for a long time and returned to India in 2024. He came here and saw that some people were living illegally in his house and trying to occupy 8 acres of land out of 16 acres of land. The accused also stole their farm motor, plow and other agricultural equipment.
Police filed a case against these people
According to ASI Sukhmandar Singh of Police Station Sidhwan Bet, the accused identified include Gagandeep Singh, resident of Rajguru Nagar in Ludhiana, Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi and Kuldeep Singh, residents of Kansipur, Uttarakhand. Apart from these, a case has also been registered against 7 unknown people.
Police engaged in investigation
The police have registered a case under sections 329 and 303 (2). All the accused are currently absconding. The police is continuously raiding. The investigating officer says that unknown people will be identified only after the arrest of the accused.
