Parents are facing many challenges about the education and behavior of children. This has been revealed in a survey conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). 13,000 parents participated in the survey, which showed that most of the parents face difficulties in meeting their children’s educational and emotional needs.
However, many parents feel confident in fulfilling this responsibility. But there is also a large section that needs additional help. The survey found that 40.1% of the parents sometimes have to face problems related to the behavior of children. While 5.5% of the parents need additional assistance for this. At the same time, 54.45% of the parents feel that they are capable of resolving these challenges.
In educational cases 53.5% of parents are confident of helping their children in their education, but 40.9% of parents sometimes feel difficulty. While 5.65% requires additional assistance.

Parents’ concerns
According to the survey, 43.5% of the parents feel that they fully understand how their upbringing decisions affect the development of children. At the same time, 36.8% of the parents want more information related to it. While 19.7% are still trying to understand this process. The 49% of the parents in the survey believe that school gives appropriate support to the parents, while 29.5% feel that schools should provide more help.

According to the survey, 13.7% of parents want help in their children’s education, while 12.3% feel the need for help in developing social skills of children. Apart from this, 12.15% of parents are difficult to give patience and positive response.
