Palestinian film director Hamadan Ballal, who won the Oscar Award, has been taken hostage by the Israeli army. His co-director Yoval Abraham has given this information on X.
Yoval said that some Israel people hit Hamdan badly in the West Bank area. He suffered deep injuries in his head and stomach.
Yoval said that when Hamadan called an ambulance to get himself hospitalized, Israeli soldiers stopped the ambulance and abducted Hamdan. There is no information about Hamdan since then.
Hamdan and Yuval have jointly made the film ‘No Other Land’, which won the Best Documentary Award at the Oscar this year. The film is the story of two friends on both sides during the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza.

‘No other land’ is a documentary film, composed by two Israeli and Palestinian directors. The film shows the story of Palestinian Karyakarbasel Adar, whose birthplace Masafer Yatta is destroying the Israeli army. They risk arrest and violence to record these incidents.
