Benjamin Netanyahu Meets Donald Trump: At present, most of the countries of the world are troubled by Trump’s tariff. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to US President Donald Trump on Iran, Gaza, Türkiye and Tariff issues. Benjamin Netanyahu is currently visiting America.
A day after the meeting with the US President, Israeli PM Netanyahu stressed that one of the only solutions to stop Iran’s rapid growing nuclear program is military intervention. He said that Iran will continue to pull the conversation without attacks, as it has been doing for years.
No matter on reducing tariffs
Netanyahu supported Trump’s statement going to other countries in Gaza. He said that Israel is interacting with countries that can accept Palestinians. He also said that Israel will continue to work against Türkiye’s efforts to establish military base in Syria. Apart from the Gaza and Hamas case, Netanyahu asked Trump to reduce the tariff, but he did not get any concrete assurance about it.
Netanyahu’s plan did not work
According to the report of the news agency Associated Press, the US has refused to remove the 17 per cent tariffs on Israeli goods. Trump said, “We are not considering to stop the tariff. Many countries are talking with us and they are going to pay the tariff.” Last week, Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that Israel is removing the tariff on all the goods coming from America, but his strategy failed completely.
Although Israel is a small market for American products, the United States is a major partner of Israel. Most of that business is for high -tech services, which are not directly affected by tariffs, but may be affected by major Israeli industries.
