Actually, Tanmay Srivastava has played under the captaincy of Virat Kohli in the Under -19 World Cup 2008. Team India also won this title under Kohli’s captaincy. Tanmay, who has played with Kohli, will now be seen in a new role. He has got the role of match official. Tanmay has been selected as an umpire in the IPL. However, they will not do onfield umpiring.

Tanmay has played 90 first class matches. He has scored 4918 runs during this period. He has scored 10 centuries and 27 half -centuries in this format. Tanmay has scored 1728 runs in List A. He has scored 7 centuries and 10 half -centuries in List A.
