The Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 Mumbai Indians opener and former captain Rohit Sharma, who was still criticizing the fans to bat poorly this season, returned to the form in Wankhede on Sunday and put all four shots of the ground.

Suryakumar Yadav’s stormy innings with Rohit Sharma in Wankhede forced the audience to swing and Mumbai won a stunning victory in front of CSK at home.
Mumbai decided to bowl first after winning the toss. With great half -centuries of Jadeja (53 not out) and Shivam Dubey (50) for CSK, Chennai Super Kings scored 176 runs for five wickets in 20 overs in the IPL match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
Chennai did not have a good start and lost three wickets for 63 runs, but Jadeja and Shivam shared a 79 -run partnership for the fourth wicket. Jadeja hit four fours and two sixes in an unbeaten 53 off 35 balls, while Shivam hit two fours and four sixes in 50 runs off 32 balls. Captain MS Dhoni scored four runs in six balls. Dhoni was dismissed by Jaspreet Bumrah. Bumrah’s full toss ball in the middle and leg and Dhoni flicked him towards deep square leg and Tilak Verma caught the catch while diving forward.

Rohit Sharma left behind Shikhar Dhawan with this innings and has become the second highest run -scorer in IPL history. Rohit now has 6786 runs, while Dhawan has 6769 runs. Virat Kohli is at number one with 8326 runs. Rohit Sharma has been playing in the IPL since 2008. So far, he has 6786 runs in 259 innings at an average of 29.63.
