KKR vs LSG Score First Innings: Lucknow Super Giants have scored 238 runs while playing first. KKR bowlers were fiercely beaten in this match being played at Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran played stormy half -century innings, retaining their rhythm. This time Aidan Markram also wreaked havoc and scored an innings of 47 runs. On the other hand, Marsh and Puran together hit 13 fours and 13 sixes.
Marsh-worship caused havoc
In this match, KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first. Lucknow Super Giants took full advantage of the circumstances. Mitchell Marsh and Aidan Markram made a salute partnership of 99 runs. Markram was dismissed for 47 runs in 28 balls, but after seeing Marsh, he felt that he had landed on the field in the mood to put long shots. He scored 81 runs in 48 balls and hit 6 fours and 5 sixes during this period. On the other hand, Nicholas Puran retained his tremendous rhythm and hit 87 runs in 36 balls, playing at a stormy strike rate of 241, he hit 7 fours and 8 sixes.

At one time Lucknow Super Giants scored 106 runs in 11 overs at the loss of one wicket. Markram lost his wicket in this over. Usually, the run-rate of the teams slows down after the wicket falls. But Lucknow had increased the speed of runs in the last 9 overs.
Only one over out of the last 9 was such that Lucknow scored less than 10 runs. In the last 9 overs, LSG players together scored 132 runs. Marsh was out in 16 overs, after which Puran beat KKR bowlers a lot. In the over of Andre Russell, who came to bowl in the 18th over, Puran alone scored 24 runs including 2 sixes and 3 fours.
