The Government of India has rejected the International Religious Freedom Commission (USCIRF) report of the US government seeking a ban on religious freedom and secret agency RAW in the country.
India described it as biased and inspired by politics. The Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday that the USCirf continuously introduces different incidents and weakens India’s diverse society.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that this commission should declare itself a “concern institution”.

Demand to declare India a special concern country The USCIRF said in its 2025 report that the situation of minorities in India was deteriorating and the secret agency Research and Analysis Wing (Raw) should be banned due to alleged involvement in the conspiracy to kill Sikh separatists.
In the report, India should be declared a special concern country.
Report has no connection with reality The Ministry of External Affairs said that 1.4 billion people live in India who follow all religions. However, we have no hope that USCIRF will accept the co-existence of India’s pluralistic society.
This US institution is far from reality, we have no hope that it will be associated with the truth. Such efforts to weaken India’s image will not be successful.

Uscirf advises US President Uscirf is a federal agency of the US government. It has been created in 1998 under the International Religious Freedom Act. This institute monitors issues related to religious freedom in countries around the world. Along with this, the President gives recommendations to the Foreign Minister and Parliament.
Earlier, it has been released against India, this is not the first time USCIRF has released such a report against India. Earlier in 2024, it released a report on the attack on minorities in India, which was rejected by the Government of India.
Apart from this, it has released such reports in the last several years.
