India has conducted a 30-cilovot laser-based energy weapon (Dew) MK-II (A) system test, which can make the enemy fixed-wing drones, self-drones, missiles and espionage sensors ashes ashes in a few seconds.
Along with this, India has also joined the countries that have a powerful laser weapon system. Till now this system was only with countries like America, China, Israel and Russia.
The laser -based weapon system was tested at the National Open Air Range in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
DRDO chairman Sameer V Kamat said that this is only the beginning. DRDO is working on many techniques, which will give us the ability to Star Wars.

DRDO’s team tested this laser weapon system in the National Open Air Range.

Burned remains of drones destroyed by laser weapon.
How laser system works
DRDO’s High Energy Systems Center Chess has designed and developed it. It also included LRDE, IRDE, DLRL and the country’s major educational institutions and industries. The system performed throughout its spectrum. Dew dropped the drone, burnt the monitoring antenna and blind the enemy’s sensor.
When a target address the radar or its inbuilt electro optic (EO) system, the dew can attack it at a speed and cut it with a laser beam. So that the object can stop working. If the laser beam targets the warhead, effective results can be achieved.
How is this beneficial for the Indian Army
The specialty of this system is that there will be no ammunition, no rocket will have to be used, only light will be attacked. This can destroy the crowd of drone attacks together. Silent operation, ie without voice, will eliminate target without smoke. Fast response and low maintenance system, ie one or two liters of petrol can be operated in the battlefield at less than the price.
