The weather has turned into the north-western states of the country after severe hot. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh has been raining intermittently since Wednesday evening. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms and rain in more than 20 states of the country on Thursday.
Rain continues with hail falling in 16 districts including Lucknow, Kanpur in UP. The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in 14 districts today. At the same time, 22 have died due to lightning in Bihar so far. Today, Orange has been issued in 8 districts, while Yellow alert has been issued in 24 districts.
