He said, ‘If you are an actor in India, then you do not have the right to show your grief. If a friend of yours leaves and you say something about it, then people think that you are doing for attention. Due to being in front of the camera, people also consider our real emotions as acting.

Regarding Sushant’s danger of speaking openly on the case, Chris said that this was not an easy decision. ‘Nobody was speaking on this because there was a risk in it. I took the risk of my career and life. My family members were also angry with me why I did this.

When asked if he took Sushant’s name only for Attention, he flatly refused. He said, ‘No one will be so stupid that take the risk of your life for attention. People do not understand how many doors are closed for you when you take such a stand. The same happened to me. I stopped getting work. ‘
He said that his aim was not to get publicity in the name of Sushant, but to stand for his friend.
The actress said, ‘I lost a lot, but found nothing in return. I did this for my friend, not to earn a name. I don’t mind what I am losing. My friends also told me that don’t speak, ‘But I could not keep quiet.’
CBI shut down Sushant’s case
Chrisan’s statement came at a time when the CBI has closed the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
Nearly four years after his death, the investigating agency said there was no conspiracy and Riya Chakraborty was also acquitted of all allegations.
